Dancirque PT teaches interactive group classes for aspiring students and seasoned professionals. Students learn about their bodies and how to improve their performance. Topics include balanced training habits, anatomy, rehabilitation exercises, warm up techniques, and post-injury guidelines. Can be presented as a workshop or an ongoing course.
Customized Conditioning & Training Programs
Dancirque PT develops customized individual or group programs to achieve professional goals. These programs are tailored towards students and professionals and include a detailed movement analysis to identify areas of weakness or possible injury. Clients are provided with detailed strength and mobility programs addressing their needs.
Backstage Coverage
Dancirque PT has a specialty service to keep artists at the top of their performance. For performers in show runs, backstage coverage provides maintenance to keep their bodies in top shape. Backstage sessions are shorter and focused on making sure the show goes on. Treatments include vocal massage, taping, stretching, and manual therapy.
Pre-Participation Screens
Dancirque PT focuses on identifying possible problems before they happen. Pre-participation screens for yearly courses, intensives, or performance companies examine individuals’ personal histories and movement patterns to identify any areas that may increase their risk of injury during participation so they can be monitored and addressed.
Wellness & Injury Prevention Sessions
DCPT collaborates with artists during one-on-one sessions of longer duration. Together, the physical therapist and client develop a plan and treatment strategies to maximize body health and endurance. These sessions address ongoing problem areas and focus on wellness via massage, stretching, education, and exercises.
